This versatile BBQ pulled pork is perfect for sandwiches, tacos, or as a main dish. Customize the flavors by adding your favorite spices, garlic, soy sauce, hot sauce, or even a splash of whisky.
Ingredients
- 1kg of pork shoulder
- 250g of BBQ sauce
- 1L of stock of your choice
Directions
- Cut the pork shoulder into big chuncks (2-3cm cubes).
- Put the pork chunks into a pressure cooker with half of the BBQ sauce and the stock (and any additional flavourings you would like).
- Lock the pressure cooker and cook for 40 minutes.
- When the pressure cooker finishes and releases the pressure (natural or quick), fish out the pork chuncks and put them into a bowl.
- Shred the pork with a fork.
- Add the remaining BBQ sauce and some of the cooking juices to get the pulled pork as moist as you would like.
